In 1953, Harvey Miracle Bartle assumed half interest and then full interest in Bartle Funeral Home in 1958. Harvey Jr. celebrated half a century as a funeral director in 1992. Harvey Jr. began his work career at the age of 16 at his father’s side.
After serving his country in the United States Naval Submarine Service during World War II, Harvey Jr. returned to the family profession and became a licensed funeral director and embalmer in 1949.
