Wilma Charlene Mathews age 89, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Monday March 11th, 2024, at the Liberty Care and Rehabilitation. She was born June 22nd, 1934, in Casey Co., KY, a daughter of the late Curtis and Hazel Brackett Lay.

Wilma was the widow of Benny Beckham Mathews.

Wilmas was a housewife.

Survivors include: one daughter: Melissa June Mathews of Liberty, four grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren and three sisters: Velma Martin of Liberty, Marcella Coffman of Liberty and Patricia Douglas of Perryville.

In addition to her parents and spouse, she was preceded in death by one son: Terry Benny Mathews, two sisters: Phyllis Chadwell and Regina Taylor and one brother: Sheral Lay.

Graveside services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday March 13th, 2024 at South Fork Cemetery. Burial will be in the South Fork Cemetery.
