William Thomas Gilpin age 85, of Liberty, KY passed away on Sunday August 4 ^th , 2019 at his residence. He was born in Gilpin, KY on October 29 ^th , 1933 a son of the late William Clyde Gilpin and Mattie Frances Gilpin.

William was a Retired U.S. Postal Worker, a Retired Kentucky Air National Guardsman and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.

William was the widower of Kathryn Atwood Gilpin who passed away on February 9 ^th , 2010.

Survivors include: Two Sons: Jonathan and (Holly) Gilpin of Lexington, KY and Stuart and (Sarah) Clements of Liberty, One Daughter: Melissa Dudley of Liberty, Three Grandchildren: Grace Clements-Ray, Molly Dudley and Clara Gilpin and One Sister: Emogene Brummitt of Florida.

Preceding him in death besides his parents and spouse was One Brother: Gerald S. Gilpin.

Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday August 6 ^th , 2019 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday August 6 ^th , 2019 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Homer Hecht officiating.  Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery with Military Rites performed by the Casey County Honor Guard.
