Veltha Louise Atwood age 86, of Liberty, KY passed away on Monday March 4 ^th , 2019 at Liberty Care Center. She was born in Liberty, KY on June 12 ^th , 1932 a daughter of the late Ernest Lee Atwood Sr. and Tina Lou Whited Atwood.

She was the widow of Marion Lowell Atwood who passed away on July 8 ^th , 1996.

She was a farmer, homemaker and a member of Carr's Chapel First Church of God.

Survivors include: One Daughter: Connie and (Jim) Murphy of Liberty, Two Sons: Marion and (Audrey) Atwood of Liberty and Michael Atwood of Campbellsville, KY, Twelve Grandchildren, Fifteen Great Grandchildren, Four Great Great Grandchildren and One Sister: Vallie Jean Murphy of Liberty.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse was One Son: Lonnie Dale Atwood, One Great Grandson, Two Brothers: Kenneth Marvin Atwood and Ernest Lee Atwood Jr. and One Sister: Ila Maxine Murphy.

Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday March 7 ^th , 2019 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday March 7 ^th , 2019 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Cameron Cain officiating. Burial will be in the Caney Fork Cemetery.
