Vallie Jean Murphy, age, 84 of Liberty, KY passed away on Wednesday November 24 ^th , 2021, at her residence. She was born November 5 ^th , 1937, in Casey Co., KY, a daughter of the late Ernest Lee Atwood Sr. and Tina Lou Whited Atwood.

She was the widow of Lyndon Murphy who passed away on February 26 ^th , 2018.

Vallie Jean was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville and a member of Carr's Chapel First Church of God.

Survivors include: Three Sons: Stanley Lyndon Murphy, Kenneth Eugene Murphy, and Phillip Murphy and (Dana Garrett) all of Liberty, Three Grandchildren: Joshua Lyndon and (Sage) Murphy, Stephanie and (Shawn) Scott and Whitney Murphy Finn and (Rodney) Seven Great-Grandchildren, Close Friend: Rita Rodgers and Caregiver: Regina Richards.

Preceding her in death besides her parents was her husband was Two Brothers: Ernest Lee Atwood Jr and Kenneth Marvin Atwood and Two Sisters: Ila Maxine Murphy and Veltha Louise Atwood.

Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. Sunday November 28 ^th , 2021, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday November 28 ^th , 2021, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Cameron Cain officiating. Burial will be in the Caney Fork Cemetery.
