Timothy Lee Smith, 66 of Lexington, KY passed away on February 22, 2022. He was born on October 18, 1955 in Danville, KY. He graduated from Casey County High School and attended Somerset Community College. Tim went on to become an entrepreneur and the owner of a construction company. On March 1, 1974, he married Alice Faye his loving wife and they had 3 sons, all of whom he was very proud. Timothy (Nicholasville), Chad (Greensburg), and Adam (Campbellsville). He enjoyed fishing and playing guitar. Tim had a passion for sports, especially UK basketball and was a baseball coach all of which led to his fierce level of competition. He had a love for life and a great admiration for his family. Tim will be missed but he will remain in our hearts and our memories.

Tim is preceded in death by his mother Barbara. Tim is survived by siblings, Bruce (Liberty), Jill (Canada) and Janell (Oregon). Tim is also survived by his grandchildren Ashley, Chase, Tyler, Makenzie, and Maddie.

Visitation will be held 11:30 A.M. Friday February 25, 2022, at the First Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday February 25, 2022, at the First Baptist Church. Rev. Jimmy Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.
