Ruth Bates, age 70 of Liberty, KY, passed away on Tuesday March 3rd, 2015 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born in Liberty, KY on November 22nd, 1944 to the late Aaron and Dottie Wilson Hatter.
She was a Beautician.
Survivors include her spouse: Joel Bates, One Son: Timothy Joel Bates of Liberty, One Grandson: Timothy Bruce Bates, Three Sisters: Alta Ford of Dry Ridge, KY, Martha Clark of Liberty and Becky of Miller of Bradenton, FL and One Brother: Paul Hatter of Louisville.
Preceding her in death besides her parents were Three Brothers: J.L., Jake and Buck Hatter and One Sister: Lula Campbell.
Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. Sunday March 8th, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday March 8th, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Cindy Board officiating. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.
