Ruth Ann Atwood, age 80, of Bethelridge, KY, passed away on Saturday January 7 ^th , 2023, at the Casey County Hospital. She was born June 11 ^th , 1942, in Bethelridge, KY, a daughter of the late George and Miller Montgomery Roy.

Ruth Ann was a retired supervisor from Liberty Sportswear and Oshkosh.

Survivors include: One Son: George Louis and (Jan) Atwood of Bethelridge, One Daughter: Terri Cochran of Liberty, Five Grandchildren: Jessica, Marcus, Celese, Ashley and Wesley, Three Great Grandchildren: Conner, Wyatt and Clay and a Special Nephew: Robert Roy.

Preceding her in death besides her parents was her Special Parents: Cecil and Eva Drostie, Two Brothers: Charlie and Vernon Roy and One Sister: Beulah Hatter.

Visitation will be held 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Monday January 9 ^th , 2023, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel and after 10:00 A.M. Tuesday January 10 ^th , 2023, at Watson Chapel Christian Church. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 Noon Tuesday January 10 ^th , 2023, at Watson Chapel Christian Church. Rev. Sherman Floyd officiating. Burial will be in the Valley Oak Cemetery.
