Robert T. May, age 76 of Lexington, KY, passed away on Monday April 13th, 2015 at Baptist Health Lexington. He was born in Prestonsburg, KY on June 9th, 1938 to the late Harry and Minnie Dunham May.
He was an Educator and a Member of the Mt. Olive Christian Church.
He was the widower of Janice Hatter May.
Survivors include: One Son: Scott Thomas and (Christi) May of Lexington, One Daughter: Susan May and (Ryan) Griffith of Lexington, Four Grandchildren: Tristan and Nicholas Griffith and Rachyl and Emily May and One Sister: Eileen Wall of Dayton, OH.
Besides his parents and spouse he was also preceded in death by Three Brothers: Cecil, Wilburn and James E. May.
Visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Friday April 17th, 2015 and after 8:00 A.M. on Saturday April 18th, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday April 18th, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Greg Powell officiating. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.
In Lieu of flowers Memorials may be made to Mt. Olive Christian Church.
