Prentice Wayne Davis, age 71, of, Russell Springs, KY, passed away on Tuesday August 4th, 2026, at residence. He was born August 14th, 1954, in Jessamine Co., KY, a son of the late Gilbert and Beatrice Land Davis.

He was a former truck driver.

Survivors include: one son: Dakota Wayne (Hailey) Davis of Waynesburg, six grandchildren: Gabby, Aubri, Ryver, Silas, Koda and Orson Davis and one sister: Patricia Ann Preston of Stanford.

Preceding him in death besides his parents was one son: Curtis Wayne Davis, and six siblings: Lillie Quinn, Gene Preston, Frank Preston, Rolland Preston, Louise Sparks and Alberta Davis.

Cremation Rites were honored by Bartle Funeral Home.
