Norman Godbey age 75, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Friday December 22nd, 2023, at his residence. He was born September 9th, 1948, in Casey County, KY, a son of the late James Robert Godbey and Manellia Blaine Vaught Godbey.

Norman was the widower of Carolyn Ann Coyle Godbey and Myrtle Faye Godbey.

Norman was a farmer.

Survivors include: One Son: Norman Allan Godbey of Danville, Four Step Children: James McCarty of Lexington, William Henry McCarty of Liberty, Ramonia Hope Moon of Liberty and Terry Lynn Barnett of Lexington, Two Grandchildren, Eight Step Grandchildren, Two Great Grandchildren, Nine Step Great Grandchildren and One Sister: Rose Murphy of Liberty.

In addition to his parents and spouses he was preceded in death by One Sister: Linda White and One Brother: Bob Godbey.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday December 30th, 2023 at the Valley Oak Baptist Church. Bro. Tyler Kennedy and Chuck Woodcock officiating.
