Myrtle Faye Godbey, age 69, of Liberty, KY, passed away on Saturday December 17 ^th , 2022, at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born March 22 ^nd , 1953, in Wilmore, KY, a daughter of the late William Harvey McKinney and Rosie Myrtle Laws McKInney.

Myrtle was a C.N.A.

Survivors include: Her Spouse: Norman Godbey, Five Children: James McCarty of Lexington, William Henry McCarty of Liberty, Ramonia Hope Moon of Liberty, Terry Lynn Barnett of Liberty and Norman Allan Godbey of Danville, Eleven Grandchildren, Thirteen Great Grandchildren, Two Sisters: Jean Rogers of Indiana and Freda Lamb of Winchester and One Brother: Howard Lamb of Irvine.

Preceding her in death besides her parents was Seven Siblings: Ollie Mae Eversole, Raymond Rogers, Betty Golden, John Douglas McKinney, Bill McKinney, Ollie McKinney, and Lucy Martin.

Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday December 21 ^st , 2022, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday December 21 ^st , 2022, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Chuck Woodcock officiating. Burial will be in the Valley Oak Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Bartle Funeral Home to help offset funeral expenses.
