Mary Lucille McAnelly, age 95, of, Liberty, KY, passed away on Wednesday July 1st, 2026, at the Liberty Care Center. She was born July 22nd, 1930, in Moreland, KY, a daughter of the late Bernard Lee Peyton and Flora Ellis Peyton.

Lucille was the widow of Charles Darrell McAnelly who passed away on May 27th, 1985.

Lucille was a former seamstress at Liberty Sportswear and OshKosh.

Survivors include: three children: Jean Rendleman of Bowling Green, Charles McAnelly of Liberty and Judy Smith of Liberty, five grandsons: Nathan Saucedo, Brian McAnelly, Justin Smith, Darren Smith and Danny Rendleman, one step granddaughter: Melissa Satterly, five great grandchildren and one step great granddaughter.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse was one daughter in law: Jackie McAnelly, one son in law: Marshall Smith, five brothers: Herman Peyton, Lewis Peyton, Clifton Peyton, Ralph Peyton and Bernard Peyton Jr. and three sisters: Nora Martin, Margaret Peyton and Ruth Peyton.

Visitation will be held 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Sunday July 5th, 2026, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday July 6th, 2026, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Jimmy Brown officiating. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.
