Marvin Martin, age 94 of Liberty, KY passed away on Monday February 21 ^st , 2022, at his residence. He was born July 29 ^th , 1927, in Gilpin, KY, a son of the late Noble and Alta Gosser Martin.

Marvin was the widower of Lela Evelyn McDonald Martin who passed away on October 24 ^th , 2018.

Marvin was a farmer, Owner of Martin's Grocery, and a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII.

Survivors include: One Daughter: Donna Jean Sharp of Liberty, One Son Steven Kent Martin of Liberty, Four Grandchildren: Susan Sharp Lynn, Ronnie Gene Sharp, Brian Keith Martin and Brandon Kent Martin, Seven Great Grandchildren: Matthew, Shae, Madison, Ryan, Lily, Shelby and Brian, Two Great Great Grandchildren: Raegyn and expecting Layla in April, Several Step Grandchildren,and Several Step Great Grandchildren.

Preceding him in death besides his parents and spouse was One Daughter: Linda Susan Martin, One Great Great Grandchild: Matthew Rylan Lynn and One Brother: Ray Martin.

Visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. Friday February 25 ^th , 2022, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday February 26 ^th , 2022, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Dallon McDonald officiating. Burial will be in the Poplar Hill Cemetery with Military Rites performed by the Casey County Veterans Honor Guard.
