Marshall Cochran, 87, died Monday January 8th, 2024. He was born in Liberty on January 11th, 1936, to the late Johnny Lawrence and Betty Long Cochran.

He was a farmer and retired from Ingersoll Rand after 30 years. He enjoyed farming and being with family. He was a member of the Block Pentecostal Holiness Church.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by three brothers, Hansel Cochran, Dwayne Cochran, Gile Cochran and two sisters, Hazel Pennington, and Jeannette Thomas.

He is survived by his loving wife, Evelyn Shoopman Cochran who he has been married to for 66 years. Two Sons: Larry Keith (Rhonda) Cochran of Liberty, Kentucky; Terry Ray (Cindy) Cochran of Russell Springs, Kentucky; one brother Travis (Linda) Cochran of Cincinnati, Ohio; two sisters, Nannette Carman of Bethelridge, Kentucky and Wraylene Patricia Wilson of Cincinnati, Ohio.

Visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Wednesday January 10th, 2024, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel and after 8:00 A.M. Thursday January 11th, 2024 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday January 11th, 2024, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Steve Isaacs and Bro. Gary Lavender officiating. Burial will be in the Poplar Grove Cemetery.
