Lora Marlene Melton, age, 85 of Liberty, KY passed away on Sunday November 28 ^th , 2021, at her residence. She was born September 19 ^th , 1936, in Indianapolis, IN, a daughter of the late Ruth Naomi Cox Lynn and Curtis Lynn.

She was the widow of Elmer "Junior" Melton who passed away on June 3 ^rd , 2011.

Marlene was a homemaker.

Survivors include: One Daughter: Sherrie Burns of Liberty, Six Grandchildren, Eleven Great Grandchildren, One Great-Great Grandchild, One Brother: William Curtis Lynn Jr of Liberty and close friend: Barbara Wheeler

Preceding her in death besides her parents was her husband and  One Son: Carl Eugene Melton.

Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday December 2 ^nd , 2021, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday December 2 ^nd , 2021, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Brent Huggins officiating. Burial will be in the Melton Cemetery.
