Margretta Thompson, age 82, of Richmond, KY formerly of Middleburg passed away on Sunday November 26 ^th , 2017 at the Compassionate Care Center in Richmond. She was born in Yosemite, KY on August 14 ^th , 1935 a daughter of the late Eunice and Maude Nichols Williams.

Margretta was a Retired Teacher from Middleburg Elementary, she also taught at Indian Creek and Cox Elementary and was a member of Middleburg Baptist Church.

Survivors include: Her Spouse: Lillard Ray Thompson, One Daughter: Renee and (Jason) Pirtle of Richmond, One Granddaughter: Kylie Pirtle of Richmond and One Brother: Bekham and (Janet) Williams of Kings Mountain.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by One Sister: Rebecca Williams and Five Brothers: Creech, Hymon, Lester, Edward and Benny Williams.

Visitation will be held 5:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Wednesday November 29 ^th , 2017 and after 8:00 A.M. Thursday November 30 ^th , 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday November 30 ^th , 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Keith Bowling officiating. Burial will be in the Middleburg Cemetery.
