Lavon Roberts Murphy, age, 88 of Liberty, KY passed away on Sunday October 31 ^st , 2021, at the Liberty Care Center. She was born January 23 ^rd , 1933, in Casey Co., KY, a daughter of the late Cyrus and Laura Wilkerson Roberts.

Lavon was the widow of Matt Green (M.G.) Murphy who passed away on February 7 ^th , 1991.

Lavon was a homemaker and a member of Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church.

Survivors include: One Son: Barry and (Flossie) Murphy of Liberty, Five Grandchildren: Robby and (Stephanie) Murphy, Lisa and (Roger) Coots, Craig and (Angie) Murphy, Brandon Murphy and Matt and (Robin) Murphy, Nine Great Grandchildren: Haley and (Devin) Burton, Megan and (Caleb) Wesley, Courtney and (Spencer) Brackett, Brittany Murphy, Jenna Murphy, Ethan Murphy, Gracie Coots, Wyatt Murphy and Murphy Coots, Three Great Great Grandchildren: Amelya Burton, Owen Wesley and Sadie Ruth Brackett and One Sister: Evona Fair of Indianapolis, In.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse was One Son: Bobby Murphy, Four Sisters: May Brown, Dorothy Smith, Linda Johnson and Edna Campbell and Four Brothers: Howard, James, William J. and C.H. Roberts.

Visitation will be held 12:00 Noon Friday November 5 ^th , 2021, at Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday November 5 ^th , 2021, at Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church. Bro. Rodney Smith and Bro. Clifton Cowan officiating. Burial will be in the Murphy Cemetery.
