Justin Bastin, age 48, of, Middleburg, KY, passed away on Sunday May 10th, 2026, at his residence. He was born September 23rd, 1977, in Liberty, KY, a son of the late Chester and Christine Elmore Bastin.

Justin was a phlebotomist.

Justin loved with all his soul, especially his family. Loved a good game of Rook. His greatest accomplishment is his daughter Ellen, he has been there for every step she has taken, their travels were endless. He was loyal, kind, loving and loved surprises and giving gifts. Justin was well known for playing softball, and an avid outdoors-man, golf and videoing his daughters every move. Justin loved his coworkers and job always helping others in their recovery process. His impact on many was huge. He was greatly loved by his family.

Survivors include: one daughter: Ellen Elizabeth Rose Bastin of Middleburg, nine siblings: Donna (Bill) MacNeal of Louisville, Rodney (Margie) Bastin of Menasha, WI, Dwight (Karla) Bastin of Russell Springs, Lana (Clarence Jr.) Weddle of Danville, Tim Bastin of East Yosemite, Lisa (the late Larry Napier) of Yosemite, Kent (Tracy) Bastin of Hustonville, Greta (Tim) Haste of Waynesburg and Glenna (the late Junior Burke) of Liberty, Fiancé Christina Floyd Brown and a father figure to Sophia Barnes and Selby Brown.

Preceding him in death besides his parents was one great niece: Cheyenne Barrows.

Visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. Wednesday May 13th, 2026, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Thursday May 14th, 2026, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Jerel Coffey officiating. Burial will be in the Middleburg Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials be made to Bartle Funeral Home or Ellen Bastin College Fund.
