Johnnie G. Hughes Sr., age 69, of Rock Falls, IL passed away on Friday August 12th, 2016. He was born in Liberty, KY on January 4th, 1947 the son of Stacha Burchell Hughes of Nicholasville and the late Kelly Vernon Hughes.
Johnnie was employed by National Manufacturing for 34 years.
Additional Survivors include: One Daughter: Melissa Hughes of Vallejo, CA, Two Sons: Johnnie Jr. and (Lisa) Hughes and Brian Weaver both of Vallejo, CA, Four Sisters: Sandra and (Cliffton) Taylor of Bowling Green, Patty Lawrence of Bowling Green, Vivian and (Bill) Gibby of Winter Haven, FL and Debra and (George) Gibby of Nicholasville, One Brother: Davie and (Suzann) Hughes of Rock Falls, IL, Eight Grandchildren and One Great Grandchild.
Besides his Father Johnnie was also preceded in death by Two Sisters: Laverne and Ruby and One Brother: Hollis.
Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday August 19th, 2016 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 Noon Friday August 19th, 2016 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Casey Davis officiating. Burial will be in the Peavey Cemetery.
