Johnie Raymond Matherly age 68, of Liberty, KY passed away on Friday September 21 ^st , 2018 at the Russell County Hospital. He was born in Liberty, KY on August 28 ^th , 1950, a son of the late Conley and Okie Bolt Matherly.

Johnie was the widower of Phyllis Ann Marples Matherly who passed away on May 7 ^th , 2014.

Johnie was a carpenter.

Survivors include: Two Daughters: LaRhonda and (Alduvin) Carbajal of Liberty and Victoria and (Virgil) Latko of Liberty, Seven Grandchildren: Drey, Jonathan, Jordan, Abraham, Eliza, Maybel and Nelsy, Two Great Grandchildren: Aiden and Ciana One Brother: Victor Matherly of Liberty and Three Sisters: Rita Bryant and Joyce Wright both of Liberty and Linda Randolph of Nancy, KY.

Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday September 24 ^th , 2018 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Monday September 24 ^th , 2018 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in the Corn Cemetery.
