Jewell Parton, age 92, of Liberty, KY passed away on Thursday December 22 ^nd , 2016 at her residence. She was born in Liberty, KY on October 12 ^th , 1924 a daughter of the late Frank and Patsy Sweet Richardson.

Jewell was the widow of Clarence Parton who passed away on July 5 ^th , 2006.

Jewell was a housewife and a member of Willow Springs United Methodist Church.

Survivors include: Three Daughters: Dolores and (Ben) Smith of Bluff City, TN, Mildred Southerland of Lewisville, TX and Patsy Ann and (Don) Chappell of Liberty, Two Sons: Edward and (Wanda) Parton of Jamestown and David C. and (Kristie) Parton of Liberty, Twenty Eight Grandchildren, Fifty Six Great Grandchildren and Eleven Great Great Grandchildren.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse was Two Daughters: Jeannette Thomas and Judy Wheeler, Two Sons: Laris Ray Parton and John Parton, Three Brothers:  Richard and Milford Anderson and Carlos Richardson and Three Sisters: Delta Richardson, Alta Maupin and Gladys Parton.

Visitation will be held 5:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. Tuesday December 27 ^th , 2016  and after 8:00 A.M. on Wednesday December 28 ^th , 2016 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday December 28 ^th , 2016 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.  Rev. Larry Cochran and Bro. Johnny Maupin officiating. Burial will be in the Willow Springs Cemetery.
