Jewell Brown, age 93 of Brookville, IN passed away on Tuesday March 15 ^th , 2022, at the Brookville Health Care Center. She was born February 27 ^th , 1929, in the Lawhorn Hill Community of Casey County, a daughter of the late Richard and Bertha Judd Wesley.

She was the widow of Conley "Dickie" Brown who passed away on May 17 ^th , 1995. Jewell was the youngest and the last of eleven children. She was a member of Willow Springs United Methodist Church but attended the United Church of Christ in Klemmes Corner, IN where she lived.

Survivors include: Two Sons: Roger K Brown (Pam) of Brookville, IN and Danny K Brown of Brookville, IN, Two Grandchildren: Roger K Brown II of Brookville, IN and Kelly (Matt) Gurley of Mason, OH, Three Great-Grandchildren: Nathan, Gabrielle and Liam Gurley all of Mason, OH, also surviving are nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and friends.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse was One Daughter: Connie Darlene Brown that she never saw but will now be able to see, a granddaughter: Jennifer Brown, Daughter-in-law: Elizabeth Brown and her siblings: Hula Morgan, Blanche Clark, Dollie Strong, Rose Hatter, Elvin, Hugal, Segal, Herschel, Clifford and Dallas Wesley.

Visitation will be held 12:00 Noon Sunday March 20 ^th , 2022, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Sunday March 20 ^th , 2022, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Gary Vest and Bro. Dwight Hatter officiating. Burial will be in the Willow Springs Cemetery.
