Jannis Jewel Phelps, age 87 of Liberty, KY, passed away on Wednesday July 29th, 2015 at her residence. She was born in Argyle, KY on December 21st, 1927 to the late William H. and Anna Liza Pittman Wesley.
She was a former employee of Liberty Sportswear.
Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her Spouse: Lowell Phelps, Four Brothers: Albert, Roy, Odie and Elam Wesley and Three Sisters: Matrie Kinder, Virginia and Ruthie Mae Wesley.
Visitation will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday July 31st, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday July 31st, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Creech Richardson officiating. Burial will be in the Poplar Hill Cemetery.
