Ina Atwood, age 82, of, Liberty, KY, passed away on Wednesday November 4th, 2026, at the Casey County Hospital. She was born March 15th, 1944, in Liberty, KY, a daughter of the late Johnnie and Irene Vaught Bryant.

Ina was the widow of Ernest Lee Atwood Jr. who passed away on September 8th, 2002.

Ina was the former owner and operator of Atwood’s Grocery.

Survivors include: three daughters: Regina Richards of Liberty, Sherry Luttrell of Liberty and Karen (Keith) Wood of Columbia, five grandchildren, two step grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, one sister: Alma Hooten and a special friend: Shirley Richards.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse was one granddaughter: Allie Woodrum, two sisters: Nellie Murphy and Anna Faye Bryant and two brothers: Michael Bryant and Thomas Ray Bryant.

Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday November 7th, 2026, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday November 7th, 2026, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Phillip Smallwood officiating. Burial will be in the Caney Fork Cemetery.
