Ila Emerson Tarter age 89, of Liberty, KY passed away on Sunday July 1 ^st , 2018 at Liberty Care Center. She was born in Evona, KY on December 24 ^th , 1928 a daughter of the late George A. and Levona Luttrell Emerson.

Ila was the widow of Bernal Lewis Tarter.

Ila was a former cook at the Galilean Home, a caregiver and a member of South Fork Separate Baptist Church.

Survivors include: One Daughter: Mary Ann and (Jimmy) Evans of Hustonville, One Son: John and (Nicki) Tarter of Liberty, Son-in-Law: Leonard Wilson, Grandchildren: Chris and (Alitta) Evans, Kyle Evans, Kasey and (Justin) Padgett, Aaron and (Tara) Wilson, Vance Wilson, Scott and (Jody) Wilson, Melanie and (Wayne) Hill, Stefanie and (Jared) Manes, Jacob Tarter and Emily Tarter, Thirteen Great Grandchildren, Three Brothers: Killis Emerson of Liberty, Archie Emerson of Providence, RI and Jesse Emerson of Indiana and One Sister: Sally Byrd of Liberty.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse was Two Daughters: Martha Hilda Wilson and Billie Ruth Wilson, Son-in-Law: Willard Wilson, Three Brothers: Le Roy, Lafon and Russell Emerson and One Sister: Alpha Raney.

Visitation will be held 5:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. Monday July 2 ^nd , 2018 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel and after 9:00 A.M. Tuesday July 3 ^rd , 2018 at the South Fork Separate Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday July 3 ^rd , 2018 at South Fork Separate Baptist Church. Bro. David Coffeyy, Bro. Danny Bailey and Bro. Troy Coffey officiating. Burial will in the South Fork Cemetery.
