Hester Goode, age 88, of Liberty passed away on Wednesday June 7 ^th , 2017 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born in Liberty, KY on September 11 ^th , 1928 a daughter of the late John Henry Byrd and Edith Harris Byrd.

Hester was the widow of Babe Goode who passed away on December 7 ^th , 1979.

Hester was a former employee of KTP, a Caregiver and a member of South Fork Separate Baptist Church.

Survivors include: Two Daughters: Dolly and (Bryan) Clements and Deloise Salyers both of Liberty, Five Sons: Jerry and (Judie) Goode and William Goode both of Shelbyville, IN, Randall and (Vickie) Goode of Geneva, IN, Curtis Goode and Lester and (Gina) Goode both of Liberty, Eighteen Grandchildren: Several Great Grandchildren and Several Great Great Grandchildren and One Brother: Russell Byrd of Dunnville, KY.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse was Two Sons: Donnie and John Goode, Five Brothers: Arnold, Wayne, Artis, Ernest and Chester Byrd.

Visitation will be held 5:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. Saturday June 10 ^th , 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Sunday June 11 ^th , 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Monty Lynn officiating. Burial will be in the Fair Cemetery.
