Grant Austin age 71, of Liberty, KY passed away on Monday October 7 ^th , 2019 at his residence. He was born in Mansfield, OH on June 27 ^th , 1948 a son of the late Franklyn Harold Austin and Naomi Mae Clair Austin.

Grant was a retired correction's officer from Northpoint and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include: His Spouse: Wanda Beal Austin, Two Brothers: Franklyn Austin of Mansfield, OH and Berry Austin of Clifton, KY and One Sister: Sylvia Mason of Mt. Gilead, OH.

Preceding him in death besides his parents was his Grandmother who raised him: Esther Honnert.

Visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. Thursday October 10 ^th , 2019  and after 8:00 A.M. on Friday October 11 ^th , 2019 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Friday October 11 ^th , 2019 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Scott Cochran officiating. Burial will be in the Peyton Cemetery with Military Rites performed by the Casey County Honor Guard.
