James Garfield Chadwell age 80 of Liberty, KY passed away on Monday January 18 ^th , 2021 at the Liberty Care Center. He was born in Casey Co., KY on January 1 ^st , 1941 a son of the late Cleo and Polly Ellen Luttrell Chadwell.

Garfield was a retired coal miner.

Survivors include: Two Daughters: Audrey Hall Chadwell and Jennifer and (Paul) Boggs both of Whitesburg, KY, Two Grandchildren: Tara and Haley Chadwell, One Step Grandchild: Candida and (Davis) Hall Greene, Two Brothers: Jack Chadwell of Windsor and Bill and (Sue) Chadwell of Franklin, IN, Three Sisters: Doris Edens and Sue Chadwell Hensley both of Liberty and June and (Andy) Forbes of Nicholasville, KY and numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Preceding him in death besides his parents was One Son: Garvin Wayne Chadwell, One Grandson: Colby James Hall, Two Sisters: Dolly May Black and Mary Ballard and One Brother: Charles Chadwell.

A Walk Thru Visitation will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday January 23 ^rd , 2021 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 Noon Saturday at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Hunter Chadwell officiating. Burial will be in the South Fork Cemetery.

Due to State Mandate: Masks will be required for the funeral and visitation.
