Felipe G Medellin, 77, of Liberty passed away Friday, August 21, 2026 in Lexington. He was born in Atarjea, Guanajuato, Mexico on May 1, 1949 to the late Juvenal Medellin and Guadalupe Moran. Felipe was the widower of Faye Atwood Medellin.

He worked in construction and was of the Catholic faith.

Survivors include 3 children: Juan Carlos Medellin Olvera, Ruben Juvenal Medellin Olvera, and Guadalupe Naira Medellin Olvera all of Mexico; 4 siblings: Abel Medellin of California, Maria Teresa Medellin of Mexico, Hortencia Medellin Rodriguez of LIberty, Cain Medellin of California, and Jose Medellin of Mexico; girlfriend, Judy Lane; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and his wife, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Humberto Medellin and Rodolfo Medellin.

Visitation will be held at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel in Liberty on Friday, August 28, 2026 from 5-7 PM.
