Emma Jean Cochran, age 80, of Liberty, KY passed away on Monday April 10 ^th , 2017 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was born in Hustonville, KY on December 21 ^st , 1936 a daughter of the late Richard and Verdie Taylor Montgomery.

Emma Jean was a former cook for the Casey Co. Board of Education, Kentucky Colonel and a member of Walnut Hill Separate Baptist Church.

Survivors include: Two Daughters: Connie Cochran of Liberty and Stacie Cochran of Liberty, Three Sons: Philip and (Tammy) Cochran of Liberty, Harold and (Polly) Cochran of Liberty and Steven Cochran of Liberty, Nine Grandchildren: Jolene Blevins, Michael Cochran, Maggie Cochran, Andrea Nelson, Olivia Vaught, Robbie Beebe, Hannah Cochran, Rachel Hines and Leah Cochran, Two Step Grandchildren: Sarah Souders and Evan Souders, Nine Great Grandchildren and a Special Friend Melissa Hicks.

Preceding her in death besides her parents was her 1 ^st Spouse: Wilbur Cochran, 2 ^nd Spouse J.B. Hamilton, Five Brothers: Roscoe, Oatley, Omer, Vernon and Hubert Montgomery and Two Sisters: Chelsie Thompson and Eula Montgomery.

Visitation will be held 5:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. Thursday April 13 ^th , 2017 and after 8:00 A.M. on Friday April 14 ^th , 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday April 14 ^th , 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Phillip Patton and Leon Wesley officiating. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.
