Elsie Shoopman age 97, of Liberty passed away on Monday April 1 ^st , 2019 at her residence. She was born in Liberty, KY on December 7 ^th , 1921 a daughter of the late Bee and Tilda Sydnor Peyton.

Elsie was the widow of Jason Hobert Shoopman who passed away on August 6 ^th , 1981.

Elsie was a housewife and attended  Block Pentecostal Church and Brush Creek Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include: One Son: Harlan and (Mary) Shoopman of Liberty, Three Grandchildren: Carla Rexroat, Jeff Shoopman and Chris Shoopman, Three Great Grandchildren: Stephanie, Renay and Jason, Five Great Great Grandchildren: McKenzie, Natalie, Tara, Allie Jean and Sadie Mae and Two Great Great Great Grandchildren: Kinsleigh and Addy.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse was One Daughter: Emma Jean Rodgers, One Son: Benny Shoopman, One Grandchild: Kim Hafley, Four Sisters: Ruby Shoopman, Mary Cochran, Ettie Cochran and Bertha Cochran and Three Brothers: Virgil, Daniel and Vernon Peyton.

Visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. Tuesday April 2 ^nd , 2019 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Wednesday April 3 ^rd , 2019 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Bearl King officiating. Burial will be in the Peyton Cemetery.
