Elizabeth Land Turpin, age 98, of Liberty, KY passed away on Thursday October 2nd, 2014 at the Casey County Hospital. She was born in Liberty, KY on June 27th, 1916 to the late William and Pearl Bell Hoskins.

She was retired from Wesley Drug and a member of First Christian Church. She was the widow of Eddie Land and Roy Turpin.

Survivors include: Two Sons: William Allen and (Jane) Land of Louisville and Mike and (Bonnie) Land of Lexington, Grandchildren: Anne and Allen Land of Louisville and Beverly Crabtree of Lexington, and One Brother: J.L. and (Evelyn) Hoskins of Hustonville.

She was also preceded in death by: Three Brothers: Chester, Estil and Elmer Hoskins, Four Sisters: Pauline Roy, Bessie Richards, Eula Hankla and Mildred Hoskins.

Visitation will be held 9:00 A.M. Monday October 6th, 2014 at the First Christian Church.  Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday October 6th, 2014 at the First Christian Church. Rev. Homer Hecht officiating. Burial will be in the Glenwood Cemetery.
