Effie Marie Sims, age 94 of Lancaster, KY, passed away on Wednesday May 11 ^th , 2022, at Landmark of Lancaster. She was born August 19 ^th , 1927, in Lincoln Co., KY, a daughter of the late Matthew and Amanda Bastin Caudill.

Effie was the widow of Arley Sims who passed away on December 4 ^th , 1994.

Effie was a homemaker.

Survivors include: One Daughter: Ruth Ann Presley of Lexington, Two Grandchildren: Jeff Presley and Terry Sims, Eight Great Grandchildren and Two Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse was: One Son: Charles Wayne Sims, Two Brothers: Otha and Franklin Caudill and Four Sisters: Edna Ware, Deva Jones, Mary Nancy Moore and Darlena Broady.

Visitation will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday May 16 ^th , 2022, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday May 16 ^th , 2022, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Lynville Hatter officiating. Burial will be in the Dunham Cemetery.
