Dorothy M. Allen, age 90 of Liberty, KY, passed away on Wednesday May 13th, 2015 at the Jean Waddle Care Center. She was born in Liberty, KY on March 4th, 1925 to the late Chester W. and Retha Sweeden Atwood.
She was a housewife.
Survivors include: Four Daughters: Shirley Foley of Dunnville, Sue Stafford of Liberty, Valerie Roy of Cincinnati, OH and Betty McCaslin of Indianapolis, IN, One Son: Ronnie Allen of Liberty, Eighteen Grandchildren, Thirty Great-Grandchildren, Fourteen Great-Great-Grandchildren, Four Brothers: Earl Atwood of Indianapolis, IN, Dee, Shearl and Don Atwood all of Liberty and Four Sisters: Helen Clark of Bloomfield, IN, Hazel Sroczynski of Liberty, Phyllis Black of Campbellsville and Ruby Cox of Elkhorn.
Besides her parents she was also preceded in death by her Spouse: Paul A. Allen and One Son: Dale Allen.
Visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. Saturday May 16th, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel and after 9:00 A.M. on Sunday May 17th, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday May 17th, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Jeff Edwards and Bro. Billy Hewitt officiating. Burial will be in the Whited Cemetery.
