Delbert Wesley (D.W.) Morgan, age 89 of Liberty, KY, passed away on Monday April 6th, 2015 at Carrollton, KY. He was born in Liberty, KY on September 30th, 1925 to the late Delbert H. and Emma Wesley Morgan.
He was a retired Assistant Superintendent with Larry Glass Construction Company a Marine Corp Veteran of World War II and the Korean War, a Deacon at Liberty United Methodist Church and a Member of Masonic Lodge Craftsman 722 F&AM.
He was the widower of Josephine Wheeler Morgan.
Survivors include: One Son: Larry and (Sharon) Morgan of Carrollton, KY,One Granddaughter: Richelle Wheeler, Two Great-Grandchildren: Dallas and Kelley Wheeler, One Sister: Flora Bentley of Harrodsburg and One Brother Marcus Morgan of Hot Springs Village, AK.
Besides his parents and spouse he was also preceded in death by Four Sisters: Marion Foley, Peggye L. Morgan, Ann Gail Morgan and Bobbie Jean Morgan and One Brother: James Morgan.
Visitation will be held 11:30 A.M. Friday April 10th, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Friday April 10th, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Bruce Hiner officiating. Burial will be in the Hustonville Cemetery. Military Rites will be honored by Caswell Saufley Post 18.
