David Thomas, age 81, of, Danville, KY, passed away on Wednesday October 28th, 2026, at the Walkers’ Trail Assisted Living. He was born March 18th, 1945, in Louisville, KY, a son of the late Jesse Richard Thomas and Ella Lee Skillman Thomas.

David was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam Era, and a retired employee of the Army Corp of Engineers.

Survivors include: his spouse: Sandra Bastin Thomas, and nieces and nephews whom he adored: Sherda K. Williams, Cynthia W. Latty, Stuart G. Williams, Teresa Sue Carter, Heather Michelle Hutcherson, Richard Keith Thomas II, Paul Bastin and Suzanne Bastin.

Preceding him in death besides his parents was one brother: Richard Keith Thomas.

Graveside services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday November 1st, 2026, at Bethelridge Cemetery. Bro. Greg Powell officiating. Burial will be in the Bethelridge Cemetery.
