David Charles Peto, age 94 of Liberty, KY, passed away on Wednesday March 25th, 2015 at the Casey County Hospital. He was born in Nutley, NJ on May 23rd, 1920 to the late Harold R. and Ruth Poulson Peto.
David was a retired U.S. Navy Captain serving in WWII. He was preceded in death by his wife: Elizabeth Leffingwell Peto.
Survivors include: Four Daughters: Elizabeth Peto of Seattle, WA, Joan Baker of Liberty, Ruth Alderfer of Roanoke, VA and Suzanne Peto of Madison, WI, Two Sons: David Sullivan of Liberty and Charles Peto of Encinitas, CA and Five Grandchildren.
Memorial Services and interment will be held at a later date in Camp Nelson National Cemetery. Cremation rites were honored by Bartle Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to South East Casey County Volunteer Fire Department or the Casey County Ambulance Service.
