Darrell King, age 78, of Liberty, KY passed away on Sunday February 19 ^th , 2017 at the Casey County Hospital. He was born in Liberty, KY on August 9 ^th , 1938 a son of the late Vernon Wallace King and Elsie Cochran King.

Darrell was a Retired Mail Carrier and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran.

Survivors include: His Spouse: Leona Phillips King, Two Daughters: Carole King and Melissa and (Thomas) Cravens both of Liberty, Two Granddaughters: Abby MaKenna Cravens and Gena Beth Cravens, One Sister: Wilma Scott of Liberty and Two Brothers: Dale King and Allan and (Beverly) King both of Liberty.

Preceding him in death besides his parents was One Son: William Kent King.

Visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. Wednesday February 22 ^nd , 2017 and after 8:00 A.M. on Thursday February 23 ^rd , 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday February 23 ^rd , 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Donald Marcum officiating. Burial will be in the Poplar Grove Cemetery.
