Obituary

Darius "Ted" Carman, age 82 of Middleburg, KY passed away Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at his residence. He was born April 23, 1939, in Casey County, the son of the late Arnold "Whitey" and Bonnie Thompson Carman. He was preceded in death by a sister, Barbara (Hobart) Wilkinson.

Ted was a retired farmer and a member of Corinth First Church of God, where he enjoyed playing the guitar and singing. He enjoyed spending time on his farm, woodworking, telling stories and helping others. He loved his family dearly and always wanted to hear how their day had been and was always ready with a word of encouragement. He loved his neighbors and always tried to lend a helping hand. He had a funny sense of humor and enjoyed making people laugh. He enjoyed sharing his faith with others and had a burden to see people saved.

Survivors include: His spouse of 59 years, Nancy Floyd Carman, two sons: Tim (Linda) Carman of Hustonville, Steven (Renee) Carman of Richmond, Two Daughters: Lisa Wilson of Liberty, Amy (Hartley) Scott of Middleburg, 6 Grandchildren: Adam (Kristen) Wilson, Jacob Carman, Luke (Becky) Scott, Zack (Emma) Scott, Hannah Adams, and Julia (William) Turpin. 5 Great Grandchildren: Luke and Dom Scott, Kate and Hagan Wilson, and Conway Turpin. A sister, Shirley (Tom) Hines of Middleburg.

Private Family services will be held 12:00 Noon on Saturday at the Corinth First Church of God with Private Family visitation at 10:30 A.M. Saturday at the church. Bro. Steven Willingham and Bro. Tim Carman officiating. Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery.

Expressions of sympathy may be made in the form of donations to Gideon's International.
