Daisy Short, age 91, of, Russell Springs, KY, passed away on Monday October 19th, 2026, at the Jean Waddle Care Center. She was born April 3rd, 1935, in Lawhorn Hill, KY, a daughter of the late Roscoe and Ada Morgan Cain.

Daisy was the widow of Lloyd Short who passed away on February 13th, 2021.

Daisy was a homemaker.

Survivors include: one son: Eddie Price of Liberty, two daughters: Jill (Bruce) Smith of Hustonville and Jan Thomas of Russell Springs, nine grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, three step grandchildren, one brother: Irvin Cain of Middleburg and one sister: Carolyn Lombardi of Virginia.

Preceding her in death besides her parents and spouse was two sons: Craig Price and Jay Price, one great grandchild, two sisters: Florence Anderson and Arlie Legg and three brothers: R.T. Cain, Bill Cain and Elmer Cain.

Visitation will be held 12:00 Noon Sunday October 25th, 2026, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday October 25th, 2026, at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Woods Adams III officiating. Burial will be in the Middleburg Cemetery.
