Charles R. Murphy, age 80 of Liberty, KY, passed away on Thursday April 2nd, 2015 at the Casey County Hospital. He was born in Liberty, KY on August 31st, 1934 to the late Edward and Mary Sharp Murphy.
He was a former employee of South Indiana Lumber Co. and Liberty Sportswear and a U.S. Navy Veteran.
Survivors include his spouse: Ima Jean Cochran Murphy, One Daughter Angie and (Jimmy) Ashley of Liberty, One Grandson: Alex Ashley of Liberty, Three Brothers: Hollis Murphy of Liberty, Vearl Murphy of Cincinnati, OH and Joe Murphy of Yosemite and Two Sisters: Lois Sandusky and Wanda Vaught both of Liberty.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by Two Sisters: Bobbie Richards and Janice Lynn and One Brother: Paul Murphy.
Visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. Sunday April 5th, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday April 6th, 2015 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Greg Powell officiating. Burial will be in the Wilson Cemetery.
