Billie Lewis Watts, age 79 of Kings Mountain, KY, passed away on Thursday March 19th, 2015 at the Casey County Hospital. He was born in Middleburg, KY on July 23rd, 1935 to the late Russell Lewis and Hazel Mattie Spaw Watts.
Billie was a lifelong farmer who grew up and lived on Grove Ridge all of his life. Billie was saved at the age of 8 years old and grew up in the Grove Ridge Baptist Church where he was a deacon for over forty years.
Survivors include: His Spouse: Helen Jean Baugh Watts, Two Daughters: Jacqueline Kaye and (Ronald) Allen of Kings Mountain and Terri Annette and (David) Wright of Somerset, Two Sons: Randy Lewis and (Aleisha) Watts of Kings Mountain and Ricky Lynn and (Beverly) Watts of Danville, Ten Grandchildren: Andrew David and (Laura) Allen, Kellie and (Ryan) Atwood, Christopher and (Kirby) Cain, Kristin and (Chris) Fisher, Courtney and (Rodney) Burton, Jared and (Amber) Watts, Stephanie Watts, Madison and Mackenzie Watts and Kisha Denson, Eight Great Grandchildren: Myles Allen, Caleb, Canaan and Adalee Atwood, Brody Fisher, Braxton and Briley Burton and Sadie Watts and One Sister: Geraldine Vay Phillippee of Kings Mountain.
Visitation will be held 4:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. Sunday March 22nd, 2015 at Grove Ridge Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held 1:00 P.M. Monday March 23rd, 2015 at Grove Ridge Baptist Church. Bro. Kevin Pittman officiating. Burial will be in the Grove Ridge Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Grove Ridge Baptist Church Building Fund or Gideon's International.
