Ada Avoniel Thompson, age 91, of Middleburg, KY passed away on Wednesday October 5th, 2016 at the Jean Waddle Care Center. She was born in Middleburg, KY on August 31st, 1925 the daughter of the late Harold and Ruth Tapscott Short.
She was the widow of William Morgan Thompson.
She was a Retired Secretary with the Casey County Board of Education for 30 years.
Survivors include: One Daughter: Gwen and (Donny) Grider of Middleburg and Two Grandsons: Donovan Grider and Chaz Grider both of Lexington, KY.
Visitation will be held 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. Saturday October 8th, 2016 at Bartle Funeral Home Middleburg and after 9:00 A.M. on Sunday October 9th, 2016 at Bartle Funeral Home Middleburg. Funeral Services will be held 2:00 P.M. on Sunday October 9th, 2016 at Bartle Funeral Home Middleburg. Bro. Keith Bowling officiating. Burial will be in the Middleburg Cemetery. .
